Diversity Training Institute for Public Safety

Challenges We Face Today

In today’s violent world, often businesses, cities and government agencies are not prepared to deal with the complexities of multiethnic communities in times of crisis. All aspects of contingency planning, crisis response, law enforcement and medical services should include strategies that address intercultural communications, cultural traditions and ethnic community dynamics. Whenever there is an emergency, Public Service Personnel responding to the crisis must have a keen understanding of the people they are attempting to serve.

Diversity Training Institute for Public Safety’s (DTIPS) training programs provide the skills necessary to communicate with ethnically diverse victims empowering you and your organization to very effectively and efficiently meet the needs of diverse racial and ethnic victims ultimately insuring gaining the cooperation of impacted multiethnic communities.
